I am building a log splitter with a log lift. I have two single spool log splitter valves with detents. Can I use them both in tandem? If so is there anything besides the hose between them needed to do it?

There are a few types of log splitter valves available. Oil will follow the path of least resistance. Therefore the oil in the cap end of the lift cylinder must be trapped during splitting. I don't know the model number of your valves or how you propose to use them but a check valve may be needed.
